Set your calendars to join us on March 16, 2024 (rain or shine) for our 42nd parade and festival. The parade will start at 10:30 a.m. on Fifth Avenue at Laurel Street and the festival will run from 9 am – 6 pm. See dignitaries and honorees, floats, high school marching bands, police and fire department units, Irish community groups, dancing groups, equestrian units, clowns, antique cars, and more. Then enjoy a fun day at the festival for the whole family.
Location: Festival will take place between 6th Ave and Balboa Drive, north of Laurel St./El Prado.
Parade will start at 5th Ave and Laurel, travel north on 5th Ave., make a right turn at Upas St. Then make another right turn onto 6th Ave heading south. The parade route ends at 6th Ave and Laurel St.
Parade Staging areas will be on the following 3 streets:
El Prado between 6th Ave and balboa Drive.
5th Ave between Hawthorn St. and Laurel St.
6th Ave between Hawthorn st. and Laurel St.
